He continued his call, like he hadn’t waved her into his office, and kept talking golf.
Ignoring her.
Ten minutes.
She waited and studied the paper in her hands, avoiding his cruel rheumy eyes.
Twenty minutes.
She scrawled two words, put the paper on his desk, then left.
“Fuck you.”
